Light attracts the public

The lighting at public facilities such as town halls, concert halls or sports arenas depends on the type and age of the building in question: modern architecture requires a lighting concept that differs from that of a historical building.

Of course different criteria also apply to indoor and outdoor lighting. Nevertheless there are general rules, e.g. for ergonomic workstation or for inviting reception lighting. Entrances and reception areas

Spotlights in the porch and indirect lighting of porch areas with luminaires fitted with OSRAM DULUX T and T/E lamps ensure that visitors get a particularly friendly welcome. OSRAM DULUX S and S/E lamps, on account of their extremely shallow design, do an excellent job in foyers and entrance halls, particularly in extra shallow wall and ceiling luminaires. OSRAM DULUX L, OSRAM DULUX F and OSRAM CFL SQUARE can also provide appropriately representational light in reception areas and in the rest of the building.

For heights above five meters, OSRAM DULUX 120 W HO CONSTANT and OSRAM ENDURA lamps in reflector luminaires are the right choice. They provide a high degree of luminous efficacy, very good light quality and have a long life.

Corridors and hallways

General lighting with OSRAM DULUX D and D/E in wall or ceiling luminaires provides optimum orientation in corridors and hallways. Long, monotonous corridors are made brighter and more modern by asymmetrically configured mini downlights fitted with OSRAM DULUX T PLUS and T/E PLUS lamps. For particularly narrow recesses, we recommend OSRAM DULUX T/E IN PLUS, which was developed especially to operate at high ambient temperatures.

Outdoor lighting

OSRAM DULUX T/E IN PLUS or OSRAM DULUX L CONSTANT lamps in decorative wall luminaires or spotlights add to an attractive, representational look and feel. OSRAM DULUX EL Facility with motion detectors is particularly recommended for buildings and facilities, whose entrances are not illuminated around the clock.
