OSTAR HAS BEEN AWARDED THE INNOVATION PRIZE INTEL DESIGN 2005
OSTAR, a multichip LED with high luminous power by OSRAM Optosemiconductors, has bees awarded the prize INTEL Design 2005 in the INNOVATION section.
The INTEL Design Prize, which is at its fourth edition, is assigned to the best new products exhibited at INTEL, the international exhibition of electrotechniques, electronics, illumination, industrial automation, security, electric components which has been held in Milan from 17th till 21 May 2005.
This year the international Jury has selected 47 new products divided into 2 categories: innovation and design.
OSTAR is a multichip LED with high luminous flux, composed of 4 chips which are extremely precisely assembled in an unique package, optimised to be used with optical systems. It is available in RGB and monochromatic (red, green, blue or white) version.
Its brightness, uniform light, the compact dimensions, the small mounting depth and the thermal management make Ostar ideal for use in applications of general lighting and in the realisation of miniaturized multimedia projectors.
