Our aim is to generate large amounts of light from very little energy.

Compared with “normal” light bulbs, OSRAM energy-saving lamps for example save around 80% in energy for the same light output; savings from halogen energy-saving lamps are around 30%. Over the past few years we have constantly expanded our range of energy-efficient lamps and are pleased to be able to offer our customers a broad spectrum inluding innovative HALOGEN ENERGY SAVERS. Lower energy consumption means lower emissions of CO₂.

Energy-efficient solutions are therefore working actively against global warming and climate change. At OSRAM we are working hard to develop lamps that need as little power as possible. This is good not only for the environment but also for your wallet because your monthly electricity bills will be considerably reduced. Together with you, we want to maintain our living space in all its beauty and promote environmental protection – for us and for our children.

Halogen lamps

Halogen lamps evolved from standard incandescent lamps. Besides their higher efficacy, longer lifetime and continuous dimm-ability, halogen lamps have additional advantages, adding to their environmental benefits.

Compact fluorescent lamps / energy-saving lamps

Since their introduction over 20 years ago, compact fluorescent lamps have been known as energy saving lamps. They save an average of 80% energy compared to standard lightbulbs.

LED Systems

In contrast to incandescent lamps, light-emitting diodes produce light in a certain color. This color varies depending on the materials system used and ranges from yellow, orange, and red to green and blue.
