OSRAM is the world’s first lighting manufacturer to receive approval from the United Nations for a “Clean Development Mechanism” (CDM) methodology for reducing CO2 emissions.
These sustainable projects will enable many millions of people in developing countries to receive high quality energy-saving lamps in exchange for their energy-wasting incandescent bulbs. All participating families will directly benefit from reduced energy bills and at the same time avoid CO2 emissions.
